Arcadian Fare
A Perspective on
Gastronomy, Travel, and Wellness
My nucleus. A universal language. A unifying force. What could I possibly be talking about? Food! It is also: science, culture, history, social justice, medicine, connection, seasons, design, stories, dining, cooking, allergies, sustainable, and so much more. A recent health crisis has me exploring a new path of vitality via food. I am sharing my ample experiences with the hope that they teach, connect, and inspire us. Escape with me as I expose the good in the world, through the lens of food.
About the name! The word arcadian is derived from a Greek province where residents led an idyllic life in harmony with nature and it implies simple contentment with a rustic way of life. How dreamy for an urban dweller whose feet are firmly planted on the ground and head drifts in the clouds. I have always been drawn to experiences centered on simplicity, serenity, and nature and am told that my favorite things as a child were two simple things: to eat and to help people. After all these years not much has changed and all of this inspired the name Arcadian Fare :)
